You can always pause the music on the player to the right and you can also view pictures larger by clicking on them :-)
Hannah loves dressing up, playing with her "babies" & watching herself on video. She has also become opinionated about how to fix her hair. She always asks for two ponies :-) From the looks of these pictures I should have taken the time to fix it before I started snapping :-)
She almost completed her outfit :-)
Several times a day Hannah asks me to play babies with her. She wants to dress them up, take them out in the "cars" (her little riding toy) and rock them to sleep. She always asks me first which one is my favorite then gives me that one (unless of course it is the one she really wants). When I choose the one she wants it is so funny to see her try to convince me to choose the other one. She will say things like, "Oh look at this one it is has a little butterfly on it".
There's nothing better than combining dress up WITH a picnic
Hannah continually sings her ABC's and wants me to record her so she can watch herself on the computer. She also likes to see her picture on my cell phone. She will ask, "can I see Hannah?" She seems to be in awe of seeing herself.
We are thrilled to have another baby joining our family this fall. It was fun for Brock and I to see him/her and watch all the kicking, squirming and moving. It would have been so fun to have a video. Here are a few pictures of the newest member of our family :-)
I have been feeling very yucky for the past couple months and often felt very overwhelmed with it all. :-) Thankfully, the thrill of being pregnant and knowing it could be WAY worse kept me in check. Just seeing him/her move so much makes me very anxious to feel the movements.
The kids are very excited and have lots of questions and comments. I am due September 1st - making this baby our 3rd fall baby. Hannah is the odd one with a May birthday.
This ultrasound was done at 10 weeks 6 days (I'm 12 weeks now) and it was amazing all the detail we could see. Look at the eye sockets and other bones in the face - crazy huh?!
Psalm 139:13-14
For you formed my inward parts;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made
Hannah "reads" to anyone who will listen. She loves to make up stories or repeat stories she knows well.
(not sure why the picture doesn't show up but if you push play it will all be there) :-)
Samson (he is part Great Dane and part Boxer) doesn't realize he is a BIG dog :-) Not only does he sit on our laps and constantly snuggle up to us he is scared of dogs WAY smaller than himself :-) A couple years ago he even curled up into our baby bouncer seat! He cracks us up :-)
We headed up a nearby mountain to go sledding this past weekend. We found a great spot (complete with a jump) and all had a blast!
Madison easily won the award for the most wipe outs :-)
Hannah loved sledding and when she wasn't sailing down the hill she was digging in the snow creating "snow rocks"
I stayed busy trying to capture pictures of Brock, Isaac and Madison sailing over the jump. We laughed and laughed as they each flew over it in a variety of positions. Ouch - looks likes a painful landing!
Isaac flying in his "little red rocket". We realized Hannah's little sled worked pretty good for Isaac :-)
Madison's turn to soar!
I kept my feet on solid ground! I never have been a thrill seeker. The kids definately get it from Brock :-)
Isaac got a double jump. I love Brock's "YEAH" position :-)
A couple more wrecks under her belt :-)
Isaac had a couple good wrecks too - he didn't find them as funny as Madison found hers :-)
I was convinced to take one ride down the hill. It was fun until Isaac walked right in front of me and I ran into him :-)
After leaving the cabin we stopped at the fish hatchery to enjoy more of the beautiful sunny day. The pond was filled with big fish - they were everywhere.
Our home away from home has become forest service cabins. We have tried two different ones in the area and love them both. Whenever it works out - we pack up and head to "our" cabin. This cabin is only 1/4 mile off the road so was really easy to get to (kids skiied, I walked, Hannah rode in her sled and Brock used the snowmobile to bring in all our stuff). We stayed two nights and enjoyed relaxing evenings, reading, sledding, skiing, snowmen, snow forts, board games, wood gathering, simple meals, beautiful star filled skies and lots of time together. Something about no electricity, no running water, no indoor plumbing, tiny quarters and beautiful surroundings beckons us over and over.
Samson loves the cabin too - he runs and runs and runs. Thankfully he stays close by and hasn't gotten into a fight with an animal yet :-)
Every time he was out he managed to find some burrs :-)
Brock took the kids sledding while I took a nap. They used the snowmobile to find the best hill. Unfortunately, I forgot to send the camera with him.
