Visitors

My parents and my brother, sister-in-law and their two kids came to visit us the second weekend of September. It was so fun to see them. My brother and his family were moving from WA to ND and my parents met up with them in ID and helped them drive. Isaac had a lot of fun playing with his cousin, Ira (who is almost 3). Their visit went by way too quick but we are always thankful to have anyone for however long it is :-)

Ira giving me his very serious look, Isaac on the other hand doesn't really have a serious look :-)
Madison had her cross stitch stuff out and was thrilled to have grandma there to show her the best ways to do it. She loved being around us ladies and especially loved having a project to work on "just like grandma"

These two were always off playing. Every so often we realized we hadn't seen them for awhile so we would go check on them. This time I found them in the bathroom playing with the firetruck. Not sure why the bathroom would be the room of choice :-) Isn't Ira such a cutie with his big brown eyes and cute full lips?

Adorable little Simon. He is such a sweet little smiley baby. If he even thought you were looking at him he was smiling. He smiled so big that his whole body would squirm. I love that about smiley babies, their smile takes over their whole body :-) By the way, if you want your kids to play with toys at our house - they MUST match their outfit! That is the only way we will share our toys with you! Ha!
Our next hunt for these two led us to the garage! They were driving "wild and crazy" in the Razr. It was so cute, anything Isaac did Ira did. They were acting like they were really driving and whipping here and there - it was funny :-)
We were excited to have spring rolls for dinner Sunday night. They were delicious but unfortunately all of us (except Mom and Dad) were sick the next day so I am not sure how many of us will be ready for Spring Rolls real soon :-) Although it wasn't the food that got us sick, something about being "revisited" by your food hours later doesn't give you the desire to eat it again :-) Hannah had been sick a couple days earlier but it was short lived and she seemed fine but I guess we all got what she had. Sorry guys, hope you will give us another chance :-) Ha Ha

Looks like it was a really nice and relaxing visit! I'm still a little bummed I didn't get to go with mom & dad but maybe it's a good thing with all that sickness! haha. i still managed to get it a week or so after they were back, however.
